I've heard of it before and it makes sense, scientifically speaking, but I'd never seen it. Very cool video.

Another one that shows it, incredible shot too!

The capitalist economic model is fundamentally flawed. It is not self sustaining, and can only maintain itself with constant growth. Obviously infinite growth is impossible, so the question is not whether the economy will collapse, but when.

Get your guns, ammo, and food while the stores still stock them. Prepare yourself now, because when the meltdown comes it will be too late.

I would imagine that it'd actually just be the distortion of the air (vs boiling water) caused by the bullet travelling faster than the speed of sound, similar to the visible "wave" of a sonic boom.

They made a point on this on the History Channel's sniper episode dealing with the confirmed over 1 mile kill in Afghanistan

It's the same phenomena happening in this photo

It's a pressure wave vaporizing the moisture (boiling) not heat.

Air flows exactly like water, less resistance but the same. If an object can leave a trail through the water it will do the same in the air. I'm not 100% on the boiling part of that but it's displacing the air and that forms eddys behind the path of the bullet.

The smart, learn from their own mistakes.
