What's the intended use? Carbine, shotgun, pistol? I don't have any real hard use or experience with most of these. I have seen/handled the Leupold and was impressed, I also like the overall look of it with the circular shape vs. the squared more common look. Plus you get Leupold's quality and CS.Comment

TOTALLY depends on the application.
I really like the Burris Fastfire. I've got it on my TC Encore in .45 and we put one on the wifes MKIII/.22lr.
For a rifle application, I would go with something like the RMR. It's, just amazing. I might also go with a more traditional red dot like the Aimpoint T1 or Primary Arms if it was going on a plinker or "fun gun".Please read the Calguns Wiki
Laws that forbid the carrying of arms...disarm only those who are neither inclined nor determined to commit crimes...Such laws make things worse for the assaulted and better for the assailants; they serve rather to encourage than to prevent homicides, for an unarmed man may be attacked with greater confidence than an armed man.

Just to add another vote for the Burris Fastfire. I know a lot of guys that run them on their pistol slides in place of the rear sights. Those suckers take a HUGE amount of abuse and just keep on ticking, and at about half the price of the other MRD's.Please read the Calguns Wiki
