    Quick question

How is everyone doing, Im new to the site so Im not 100% sure if this is where I need to post. My question is, I found a old mag pouch that my dad has had for years it looks to be WW2 era but Im not exactly sure. It has 2 clips in it marked with an "A" can anyone give me information on this?

You should probably post a picture and you'll get better/more accurate responses.

I think you got the right forum. The Curio & Relic forum also sounds like it could also be applicable since you mentioned WW2 era stuff.

Sounds like they may be 1911 or M1 carbine (from markigs sound like the may be carbine mags).

Also, you'll probably get some snide comments, but you likely found 'magazines'. Of course they could be 'clips'. Accurate nomenclature is a sticking point with many posters, and it not only presents a well-rounded education/experience but knowing the difference can make your questions get answers more to the point (instead of the comedic comments about clips/mags).

Finally, welcome to calguns!!! And post pix, with the right info avaialable, people will definitely help you out to find out what you've got.
