Are they legal to have and sell in California for private parties if they are dissembled? I bought some at gun shows and not sure if I could sell them.

You are only allowed to import and sell rebuild kits from my understanding. Not complete magazines. I'd do a search...there is likely hundreds of posts about this very thing.
