Just a vent, grrr. I wanted (some may say need
) another mag for my CZ75 and a basic Fobus paddle holster, and needed them here by coming Friday so I could do this PPC match next Sunday. I ordered on this past Sunday night (after spending Fri. & Sat. driving around the Bay Area looking for them locally at every arms shop) from R&R Arms (rrarms.com) because they were A) one of the only dealers who had both items in stock, and B) had good prices.
During checkout their FAQ blatantly states "during checkout you can choose shipping options" so I checked out and.... boom, I had purchased before I knew it with no ability to choose shipping. (iffy checkout experience, their UI isn't so hot). So I sent an immediate emails with the order and a note "I need 2-day shipping, will pay" etc. I also called Monday morning as soon as I could (not first thing, had to work a bit) to make sure it was gonna happen.
Fella on the phone "well, we didn't read your email - we have too many emails and don't really read them" (thanks, *******) and he stated "ok, the order already shipped and we couldn't upgrade the shipping anyway, it'll be there by Thursday or Friday anyways". OK fine, no problem (he was a nice guy, don't get me wrong). I asked about the shipping statement in the FAQ and he totally dodged it - I didn't continue questioning about it, it was obvious they lied from his response.
I finally get the email with tracking numbers -- the order didn't even ship until Tuesday (I got the tracking email late last night, Tuesday) and it won't be here until next week. I feel totally screwed over by these people, the experience has been less than stellar. So unless I can find a mag (cheap fabric holster is easy if I have to) at the Gun Show this weekend I'm just SOL.
vent vent bitch kevetch rawr grrr. R&R Arms will never see another dime from me, I should've just ordered the parts from different places that were better.
