    Kimber Advertising

As I was leafing through the latest issue of American Rifleman (April 2011), I could not help notice all the Kimber ads. There are 6 pages of ads, 3 full page inluding the rear cover which is pricey alone. Even the cover adorns a Kimber!
Kimber must have a huge advertising budget. Wonder how much is passed to us in product pricing?

is this supposed to start a thread on how bad kimbers are? or how no one should buy them because kimbers are advertised more than a colt or springfield?

I just wish they'd spend some of that budget to make CA-compliant versions. (yeah, I hate the roster too)

Funny, I've been thinking the same thing! That money has to be coming from somewhere. They definitely spent some dough making their new Solo Carry. Not sure if they are a publicly traded company or not but they must be hemorrhaging cash right now.

I'm sure Kimber has plenty of money for advertising since last year they sold over 70K 1911's alone, and that money comes from their customers paying top dollar for them. With that said, I love both my Kimber's and am always looking for another.

I probably should have stipulated "for the Solo Carry 9".

I'm really digging the Super Carry Pro HD on the back cover.
