    Best pistol/rilfe lube?

I use the Hoppes gun oil on all my rifles and pistols but have been wondering if there's something better out there, particularly for the slide on my stainless 1911.

    Opinions?

I use this stuff on all my guns. Its LP. Not CLP. I dont need a cleaner with my lube. It keeps stainless from galling. I tried most types of lube and im happy with the results of this stuff. Read the tech info on this oil.If its good enough for military automatic cannons, then its good enough for my armament... http://www.midwayusa.com/viewproduct...tnumber=770845

Right on. I used to use the same stuff on my race bike's chain.

I still use the gun slick graphite grease, doesn't gum-up or blow out of the gun. This stuff is great for guns that have lots of steel on steel moving parts.

Basic ball bearing grease. JUST A SMALL DAB.

I've been liking Eezox lately. Smells great too.

I personally like BreakFree CLP, and that is currently what I am using. I have used Hoppe's and Kleenbore in the past, and they both worked well also. Currently, I am also looking to add a lubricating grease to certain parts of my lube regiments, and looking for any suggestions I can get.

Based on Grant Cunningham's very well considered advice about gun lubrication:

Lubriplate SFL-0 grease on parts that slide.
Lubriplate FML 350-AW oil on parts that turn.

I bought my oil from this guy: http://www.lubrikit.com/
I had a pound of grease already (the lubrikit guy sells a kit with both grease and oil).
