Ok i am working on opening up an account on both auction arms and gunbrokers. Question i have. I was using both paypal and ebay. With ebay going totally anti gun. Once my auctions end on ebay thats it for me. However i need to find a place that can accept credit cards as easily as paypal did. i have been looking for a while now however most places require a merchant account then charge some hefty start up fees along with monthly fees. These fees would make it a lot harder to make a dollar. So question has anyone found anything that even comes close to a paypal. I guess the best part that i like about paypal is that people would email me on things that they knew i had. So i would create an invoice on paypal and send it to them. I have not found an establishment that i can use so far. Unless i go check and money order only. However that would take soooo long and i would loose a lot of business.

first it's OK for them, now it's not. I think the final straw was with Cho (VT) as He bought some mags off Ebay.
My personal preference is keeping gun related stuff in gun related sites. Sure it has paypal & such that really makes transactions easier. In the face of such challenges, I'm sure someone will see a market for it & start something. Look at us here in California & the distance we have covered due to a lot of smart people. Gearpay.com. This company is working to add debit and credit cards to their payment system. Most important is that they are 100% 2nd-Amendment friendly. As noted on their wesbite: GearPay.com is currently working to provide Debit and Credit Card services.
Keep in mind that Ebay owns Paypal. In short order, anything that Ebay bans, Paypal will also set up a prohibition of use of their services for the same items. Bastards.

get your own merchant account,
Ive got mine through costco, black card members get better rates and no application fees
I pay $20 a month if I dont use it, otherwise they charge their discount, which is very competitive, less than paypal for suresigpicNRA Life Endowment Member - CRPA Member

I agree with Blackberg.
If you sell quite a bit I'd get your own merchant account. COSTCO seems like a good deal from what he says at $20 a month.
I shopped around and some of these outfits are damn proud of what they do. Extra and hidden charges for everything abound so be wary of the come on's.
I've set up GearPay on www.Gunsr4.us but no one uses it yet. PayPal seems to be the default or primary puchase arrangement for most everyone. I tried to avoid it but too many requests and no sales demanded I set up a PayPal account. I don't plan on this as a business, I just wanted to get the CALGUNS logo's out there amongst the population.
