    Perfect example of why weapon laws don't work

    Half the weapons siezed are "illegal" by California laws, yet these guys have them.

    Further illustration as to why gun and knife laws don't work, they just make criminals out of otherwise law-abiding citizens.

    On the bright side, if they can't make the drug charges stick, at least they can put them away for a while on weapons charges.

    It's funny how, out of all the "weapons" they show in that picture, only about 4-5 of them are actually illegal in CA. Way to fear monger media, way to fear monger.

      I find the last sentence most disturbing;

      Jfc, what is it with some people.....

I actually converted two last week.
        This is the answer.

          That's like saying yes i was breaking the speed limit but it was only by 15 MPH not 30 MPH. Sorry but it makes no difference. Having illegal and legal weapons does not make it less of a offense. If you are not sure if you have a illegal weapon either do the research ( and in this day and age your answer is literally minutes away) and get rid of it if its illegal but those people were dealing drugs and most likely knew that some of the guns they had were illegal. And combine it with the possession and possible sale of drugs i personally say good riddance.

            Looks to me like the "sawed off" shotguns all have 18"+ barrels and would be over 26" long.
            The other long guns and handgun are not illegal.
            The illegal weapons are the cane knives etcetera.
            These are illegal in CA, but legal in many other states.

            Media hype.

              I do fully agree with that. What they were doing IS/WAS illegal. However, the point I was trying to make is that their main "poster image" contained predominately LEGAL weapons to obtain/own here in California; yet they were flaunting their "big catch" as if they ALL were in that photo, simply because they looked "intimidating". As I was trying to point out, it was nothing more than media hype/fear mongering, because if you only put the truly illegal weapons in it, people would look at it and say, "big friggin' deal" with there being so few.
