? on gun show German Surplus scope.

I went to the big Reno gun show this week. When I was there I saw a gentleman selling a "German surplus scope". It was a rubberized green, had multiple vertical hash marks, was illuminated, and came with a picitiny type mount. He was asking 189.oo and seemed to be of good quality. Anyways I am begging to regret I didn't buy it. Does anyone have any clue of what type of scope it may have been? That way I can see if I can find one for sale on the internet. Thanks.

I think I have seen them on the Internet. I can't remember the name. I think they go for about $50. They are East German Surplus. I can't remember exactly why I didn't buy one, but I think it was because the mount was not universal and you couldn't fit 1" or 30mm rings on the tube.

I also just remembered that the tick/hash marks were not calibrated for a common cartridge. I think it was calibrated for an anti-tank weapon.

Ya I had never seen one before. It was similar in shape to a Trijicon Recon red dot but bigger. It seemed very well made, but I instantly thought gun show mark up. I should of got more information on it.
