Alright this is the presentation I made to help teach some Hawaii Citizens about the HRS 134-2 Permit to acquire statute.

Is there supposed to be narration? I didn't hear any.

A question, just because... if your prints were taken 'before', as for a professional license, for how long are they good before HI wants you to get them re-done?

Very well done, I got my first handgun (a Ruger Single-Six) in Hawaii in 1967 while in the Air Force. I remember going to the police station for a permit, don't remember finger prints being taken but could have been. No mental health review and no class or range time then.

They will take the prints (1) time for the purpose of firearms specifically and they are good for as long as you keep the receipt. They should always have the record of your prints, but we have seem them lose it. So if you keep your receipt they should never take it again.

I think we will add narration, and record it just as if we were giving the presentation ourselves. This part of a training course that I am developing for the Hawaii Firearms Safety course that will be delivered via the internet just like many college courses now. It is my first real "click" at making a useful power point. I have a few friends that have been teaching me principals and guidance, have to make a bunch of corrections based on their teachings now.
