CA guy at El Paso Gun Show today

Just thought I'd send ya'll a little "what I did on my vacation" note. I am in Texas and New Mexico doing some visiting and my lovely, fantastic, awesome wife made sure to check the gun show circuit to see if it might coincide with our travels, it did! Most of us gun type nuts from the govermental wastelands of CA would have to bring extra kleenex just keep the drool off the tables of "black guns". SCARS, Colt ARs, Bushmasters, Uzi, Master Piece Arms, etc. etc. All of it can be sold, on the spot with proper IDs to TX residents. Pistols, you want to talk pistols... what roster? what list do you speak of? ... there are no stinking lists! A mfr makes a pistol, you want to buy it, no problemo, no CA DOJ blackmail BS. So you ask were there "deals" well most stuff the pricing was pretty normal. You scratch hard on used or unique things there was probably some nice deals to be had. Now, if I was so inclined , could have obtained some rebuild kits for the various normal capacity magazines I have owned since the ban.... for some pretty good prices. AR brand new 30 rnders for $7.00 if you purchased 4 or more. Used AR mags were 5.00. Best deal I saw there. Anyway people very friendly and my wife enjoyed looking at the jewelry. In fact one of my purchases, ahhem, was a vintage (looks old) Navajo looking wrist watch band. You know the big heavy silver bracelet thingee with stones and nice blue turquoise and a watch that looks like your uncle from new mexico used to have. I paid $70.

Let me be the first say as I am too lazy to figure out the photo thing with an iphone. Cheers.
