    AR malfunction.

What would cause my CMMG AR 22 to fire two shots in one trigger pull? It happened twice in 200 rounds but that's still unacceptable. I don't understand why it's doing it.

Im not sure, but I cant tell by looking at it. Id need a seasoned AR builder to take a look at this thing. Im not really comfortable owning a possible machine gun.

Check the disconnector spring, it may be upside down.

I re installed the entire trigger assembly, nothing seemed out of the ordinary.

Ill have to take it out next weekend to see if that fixed the problem, if not Im gonna need someone to take a look at this.

Can you even bumpfire a .22? Either way I'm sure I wasn't bumpfiring.

You need to get lighter springs. I've had the same thing happen with my Carbon 22 upper with a standard weight hammer spring.

You have any links to the lighter springs?
