So I have seen some sales for black talon 9mm with the box only. They sell for about 40-50 dollars for a box of 20.

Only reason Black Talon sells for so much is the collectors value. Unless you're collecting these for some reason, just get Winchester Rangers which are updated versions of the Black Talon round. Streichers sell these for $21 for a box of 50.NRA Benefactor Life Member

^^ what he said. The black talon is old tech - the Winchester ranger ammo is the next generation (actually several generations ahead). LASD carries the ranger stuff, you can get the "law enforcement only" stuff online (it's just marketing - it's completely legal to own as a non LEO).
Unless you were trying to sell it- probably won't have much value loose to collectors.Comment

Just put them on gunbroker and see what happens.
Again, they are most valuable as collectors items and the thing people care about the most is having the box.
You could probably make more money (but it would be more hassle) selling them 1-5 rounds at a time for cartridge collectors since you don't have boxes to sell them in.Please read the Calguns Wiki
