    My first UOC experience

So today, I was going to head over to the range with my buddy.

As usual, I had my M&P holstered, very visibly in my blackhawk leather holster.

I was walking to the car, had a rifle case in my hand. As I was walking out to the parking lot of my complex, I noticed that there were 3 18-20ish kids that were going to cross my path. They ended up walking just behind me.

Just as they walk behind me (about 6 feet) I hear one of them yell "Oh SH*T, HE'S GOT A GAT" and take off running at full speed in three different directions.

I chuckled, got into my car, and carried on my merry little way.

For some reason, it was awesome... ridiculous, but awesome.

You sure that's a good idea outside your own home?
IMO you're making yourself somewhat of a burglary target by letting people nearby your home know you have guns. They can and will find out which apartment is yours and wait for you to leave. Guns are one of the first thing scumbags go for when looking for a house to rob.
