My Brother Bought a Gun, No Wait

My brother called me tonight and said he bought a FN 57. He lives in Colorado so he drove to the store, picked it out, paid, filled out the 4473, looked at more guns, grabbed his gun and left.

He said he felt for all the calgunners as he walked out.

Sorry just had to get it off my chest.

With a C&R and COE you could do the same if you are buying a C&R gun (rifle or pistol). I've walked out of several gun shows like that.

I'm sorry, after the HSC fee, DROS, and tax, I hardly have room for a COE in my budget just to exercise my freaking rights.

I live in Colorado and I ALWAYS have to wait!
Sometimes (if it's busy) as much as an hour while my background check goes through.

Seriously though, before I started coming here to see the plight of Californians, I really took my no wait for granted. I even complained a bit about having to get checked everytime I bought another gun. Even if I just bought one an hour earlier! :-/
But it doesn't seem as inconvenient these days.

So he's spending the next 10 days shooting puppies right? That's what happens if we get guns early isn't it?

As funny and sad as that statement is......I still wonder what politicans and anti's think making someone wait a set time will accomplish? I've yet to hear one of them give an answer that makes any sense for the real world.

Lol. He was complaining because he had to wait almost an hour. To californians that is cash and carry.

What part of Colorado are you in?

It's crazy that many gun owners have a safe full of guns but they may just go shoot a baby if they don't have a waiting period.

I get fed up with the phone call for back ground here. I don't think I could handle the CA crap.

Funny you say that.....Last time I had a gun shipped to me and was waiting for my FFL to get my background check approved via the internet I made a comment something like that! lol
I said something to the effect of "Why do I have to get approved again! I can go home and grab one of the 30 something guns I already have and do something evil if that was my intent!"
