    My Collection as of 07/25/07

Took my annual inventory pictures today, and I thought I'd post the group photo of the entire family.

From top to bottom, left to right:

    Yugo 59/66
    M1 Garand
    Remington 870
    Ruger 10/22
    Romanian AKM (CA-legal)
    Remington 700 VS L-H
    Winchester 1897
    Savage break-action 20 gauge shotgun*
    Savage semi-auto .22*
    Winchester semi-auto .22*
    Winchester '94
    Thompson/Center Encore
    Remington 742 Woodmaster
Hy Hunter Cowboy-Action Revolver .22LR/.22 Magnum
    Kimber Custom II TLE
    HK P2000 V3
    Colt Cobra

*Not certain of exact model name

I should probably mention that the AKM has a fixed mag. The mag lock is moorepoop4u's, and the mag itself is a levered 10/30 rounder made by jpglee/rsslvr.

Sweet! Keep up the good work!

Santa knows that you have been good this year?
    Thanks, Ernie

Apparently Santa doesn't like guns as much as I do I'm pretty much the only one in my extended family (the only one living, anyway) that has a passion for firearms.

Most of the firearms you see I saved up for and bought myself. The only exceptions are the hunting-style rifles and the 1987; those were inherited. The Colt Cobra was my father's, when he was a sheriff's deputy.

Very nice, but you still have a long way to go to catch up to Ivanimal. In fact this smilie , has Ivan's name on it and for a good reason.

                    Where's the AR15's?
Lord, make my hand fast and accurate.
Let my aim be true and my hand faster
than those who would seek to destroy me.
Grant me victory over my foes and those who wish to do harm to me and mine.
Let not my last thought be 'If I only had my gun."
And Lord, if today is truly the day you call me home, let me die in an empty pile of brass.

Does the Yugo have it's G/L still?

The Yugo's legal. It doesn't look like it, but I have been doubly reassured by the dealer that the grenade launcher has been permanently modified so that it no longer works. Even the box that it came in said "CA Legal" on it.

The Remington 742 is chambered in .308, and it is actually one of the more unpleasant guns to shoot. Probably due to the metal buttplate. The Redfield wideview scope it has installed on it I like a lot, though. It belonged to my grandfather.

I'm not sure why some people are thinking that I'm bragging about the size of my collection. I'm sorry if my post came off that way.

No AR-15s = no money, at least right now. It's definitely on the to-buy list. I only just found out about this whole OLL/OLR thing a few months ago.

You can't call that a collection, in CA anything more than 1 gun is
considered an arsenal, and any more than 100 rounds of amunition
                          is considered a stockpile
