Shouldn't "OLL" change to "OLR?"

Since I'm in a nitpicky mood (due solely to boredom at work), I notice oll being used alot to refer to any off-list firearm. I know that the AR is what started this whole thing and that it really is an oll as well as an olr, but since there are now plenty of other receivers out there that are O-L, shouldn't we call them all OLR's as the generic term? Most of the O-L receivers are not "lowers", just plain receivers. I think olr is mo proppah.

I know, I know, I shouldn't be picky.....but I'm bored.

I do believe that OLL has the capacity to accept the R. Because of this, you can consider this the official memo that all oll's will soon be olr's. But ultimately, it will be up to the 58+ board members to decide whether or not the OLR is really an OLL.

It's been correct all along

It's false to say that OLL = Off List Lower. It really stands for Off List Listee, and always has. Some misinformed person started the L = Lower rumor and it stuck.
