    I'm not positive, but the outside looks a lot like my Marlin 336. Mine's in one piece of course. Never seen the inside of a lever action like that before.

              Marlin 336, wonder what caliber it was. I'm assuming it was reloads and something got double charged or more.

                    It's a rare occurrence. Between me and my shooting buddies, we probably have more then a hundred year at shooting sport. Never happened to any of us... Just be careful and be safe!
