        AFAIK...
        If any part of the handgun is concealed, then it can result in a PC 12025 violation.

        This coming from what I was told while I was at the Clark Training Center (RSO Academy) in 2003.

          Thanks, Quiet. I guess it stay's in a open belt holster.

            I recall about 100 years ago (or so...) reading an example of case law where someone was convicted of carrying concealed when he had a revolver stuck in his back pocket. I don't remember if the type of gun was mentioned, but it was reported that the entire grip and part of the frame was visible.

            He got arrested for carrying concealed because the officer could see the gun. Yep.
