Grandma at Walmart

I just helped a sweet older woman pick out buckshot at Walmart. *Awesome*.

She looked like she was having trouble finding the right box, so I asked what she was looking for. "12 gauge...the stuff for game". I asked game as in buck or game as in birds? "The serious stuff". She then chatted with me about home defense ammo and her mossberg. "Just trying to protect myself".

I think I just met my new favorite senior citizen. She was awesome.

That's what I was thinking too. It's walmart, so they didn't have any choices beyond Buckshot, Magnum Buckshot, and birdshot.
