    looking for desert to shoot in

    hey guys,
    i live in orange county and would like to know which deserts are ok to show up and shoot in, near my area
    i wanna take some of the bigger rifles out and do some tatical training
    thanx for the help

        palm springs or barstow. that would be the closest to us i believe. when you say big you mean 50 cal BMG?? or just the stardard high power rirfle such as the .270 .308 30-06. You can go to any outdoor range to shoot high powered rirfles, and some indoors allow you to do so as well.

        BTW don't go alone. Especially dessert shoots, They are filled with unsavory characters. Best bet is to take a decent group up. Make it an event, i'm in

          thanx ppaagohm, and its in the high power rifle area those 50 bmg are to pricy for me and good tip
