    Drifting rear sight

So after about a month of practicing (2 times a week) with my new Glock, I feel like I've got better control over my trigger jerking and able to get a consistent group. I've noticed my shots are always shooting to the left of my aim.

Which direction should I drift my rear sight? From what I've read and understand, if I am shooting to the left of my aim, then I should drift the rear sight to the right. Can someone please confirm for me? Much appreciated.

Does it still print left if you shoot it with your left hand or someone else shoots it? If not, keep working on technique. If the gun is really shooting left, drift the rear sit in the direction you want the hits to go, so right in this case.

That's a good question. I have not tried shooting with my left and didn't really watch when others shot my gun in terms of shot placement. I will say that I consistently shoot left with my own Glock 19, and my friends Glock 17, so I'm sure it has to do with my technique. I saw a diagram that if you shoot left, I have too much 'pad' on the trigger. I tried doing that tonight but didn't seem to make much of a difference.

        what he said^

if that doesnt fix it, you'll need a sight tool or center punch/mallet to push it over.
shooting left move the sight to the left

I have a sight tool as well as a punch to drift the sight.

Wait, G-force just said to more the rear site to the right, and only10x said to move to the left... why are we getting conflicting answers? Keep in mind I'm talking about the rear sight

I stand corrected* when it comes to drifting your sights yes, you will want to go opposite of bullet impact.
Though not completely incorrect, the BoMar rear on my High standard was set up with 'click towards intended strike'
as many other match pistol sights are.

the following diagram was shot at 50' ( per my training) Ive never it scaled as a 25 yard target

Thanks for this. I'll keep working on my technique as I should and give the left hand a try too.

Caus he's wrong Pushing the rear sight to the right will move the bullet impact to the right. Think of it like this...if the sites are aligned on the target, and the rear of the slide is moved to the left (same effect as moving the site to the right) the, impacts move right.

Update. Drift my sight right and went to the range tonight. Here are my first 10 rounds at 10 yards out.
