I recently acquired one of Sigs newest optics, and I decided to go give a test. It's their new CP1 x3 optics, our Rep described it to us as 'their affordable ACOG'. Overall quality seemed good to start. Even though mine was a gift, the price tag isn't too bad at $129. The optic is a fixed x3 with a BDC reticule very similar to the ACOG which has a choice of 5 powers on either Green or Red.
I mounted it up on my LWRC M6A3 and took out with me to some of my favorite BLM land. I was using my open truck door as a rest for supported shooting, and my sling had a catastrophic failure and it rolled over the door and landed on the ground. My fault, took my hands off the rifle. It was empty/clear and I took my hands off to stretch my shoulder then grab some ammo, while the rifle was balanced on the door. It impacted on the scope, and I didn't notice the damage until a little later. Even with the large dent in the shade, the view down the reticule is perfect. It gets a Thumbs Up from me. It's worth checking out guys!
