Has anyone else seen this? detachable ten round mag and no pistola grip. cant remember the manufacturer but the price tag was something like $550.

Saiga 7.62x39 is about the same price as the Casar, and if you like the featureless setup using detachable mags the Saiga has the trigger in a more usable position. It's also from the motherland, so if you want to convert it to a standard AK pattern you end up with a real Russian made AK-47.
If you search back in the centerfire rifles section you should find a big thread on the IO Casar, which focuses mostly on the pretty poor quality of the rifle (I held one once, wanted to support Big 5 in bringing in some AK's, but couldn't with how bad the thing was)Comment
