    OMFG Glock 7!

SCHERERVILLE -- It sounds like something out of a "Police Academy" movie.

Cook County correctional officer Jermaine Bell, 36, of Lynwood, Ill., was at the Schererville Golf and Fun Center with his son late Sunday when he took out his gun and accidentally fired it into the ground.

Schererville police responded to the scene at 10:11 p.m. Bell told them he was trying to put the safety on when he accidentally fired the weapon. Bell showed police his Cook County officer's badge, and said he was carrying a Glock 7 handgun.

But Cmdr. Randy Reno of the Schererville Police Department said a Glock doesn't have an external safety switch. And a Glock 7 isn't even a real gun. It's a fictitious, porcelain gun-type fabricated for the 1990 action movie "Die Hard 2."....

                /Chris

I have a perfect Burning Man attendance record: zero.

You do know there are more guns in the country than there are in the city.

                    Okay John McClane...

Glock 7 was a fictional porcelain gun that was spoken of in Die Hard 2: Die Harder. This gun supposedly did not set off the metal detectors in the airport in the movie and was made of pure ceramic. This is to this day impossible, because the integrity of the gun would not hold under the stress of firing and the moving parts of a gun made purely from ceramic would create far too much friction to withstand rapid movements such as discharging empty shells.

This, of course is purely assumption and it may be possible to create a ceramic gun with ceramic ammunition, but to date, there is no such thing on any records.

The weapon was mentioned under the quote by Die Hard character John McClane: That punk pulled a Glock 7 on me!...It's a porcelain gun made in Germany. It doesn't show up on your airport X-ray machines...

The above quote was pure fictional and there was no such weapon in known existence at the time of the making of the movie (1990) or at 2007.

I have the newer version. They're undetectable by x-ray and by human eyes.

I think if the correctional guard displayed knowledge of firearms the Commander wouldn't of pressed charges as much.

But the guy argued stuff that was not true.

Plus he knows his Die Hard quotes. I like this Commander Randy Reno. He sounds like a sharp cookie!

Yeah I've got four of them plus the stealth AR-15.

I'd take some photographs and show them off to you guys but I looked everywhere and can't find them!
Alot isn't a word and allot isn't the word you think it is.

I'd really like a Colt 1903 frame, bad finish okay!
I'm also looking for a good deal on a 1911 frame or two for budget/spare parts builds.
