                      My gun safe is in fact DOJ approved. My "custom Pine safe" is just a tool cabinet which I used for the photo.

                        A few years ago I tried Damprid's Calcium Chloride powder in the safe and didn't like it, but this looks like a better system with the CaCl2 pellets and bag, maybe I'll go down to Home Depot and pick some of these up.

                            Brass Balls, the safe is in the garage. I used the DampRid because I did not want to drill a hole in my safe for the extension cord needed for the heating rod that I never installed.
