inheritance from out of State Uncle

my Uncle wants to leave me a couple rifles and handguns, I have searched this site and there are so many different situations. from what I can gather is he needs to name me specifically in his will to inherit these guns. After he dies I can then drive to NV and pick them up and bring them back to CA without a FFL involved. And then the handuns must be registered using the $19 DOJ form. is that all there is to it ? do I need other paperwork from him ? a copy of the will with my name ?

That's it. State and Feds need nothing more.

You might want a copy of the will, but no requirement for it from anyone that I've ever heard of.

Frozen in 2015, it is falling out of date and I can no longer edit the content. But much of it is still good!

...and make sure they're legal in Ca.

No Taurus Judge's, no EBR's without a BB, etc.
It cannot be inherited, nor can it ever be purchased.
You and no one alive can buy it for any price. It is impossible to rent and cannot be lent.
You alone and our own have earned it with...Your sweat, blood and lives. You own it forever.

      The title is....."United States Marine".

If he were to import any mags over 10 rounds in kit form that would be fine, yes?
