Fiochi .223 defective. What do I do?

I ordered 300 rounds of Fiocchi .223 and many of the bullets aren't seated properly. They are seated off-center. You can see this when you roll the cartridge across a table (the tip will move in a wide circular pattern). Some of the rounds are seated as far as 15 degrees off-center.

So what the hell do I do with it?
It's ammo so I can't send it back. There are no returns on ammo from the place where I ordered them. I am SOL when it comes to a refund for the ~120$ I spent. I can't shoot this stuff either since it'll probably mess up my gun and it certainly won't get decent groupings.
I figure I could pull and reseat the ammo but I don't have any reloading supplies with which to do that. I could also just dispose of it but that would be a waste (how would I even do that?).

What do I do with this stuff?

Do they have a customer service e-mail account that I can send those pictures to?
I also tried calling their number on the box but there is no customer service department. It just asks for an extension number for their office.

        Hi,

This is what I've been able to hunt down:

        Fiocchi Ammunition USA
6930 Fremont Rd., Ozark, MO 65721, United States
        (417)725-4118, (417)725-1039 fax, http://www.fiocchiusa.com

There is also this, but it's from 2008:
Fiocchi Ammunition, 1662 Nevada Way, Boulder City, Nevada, 89005 • 702-293-6174

I'd try faxing them first. If there is no response in a day or two, send them a registered letter advising them of the fact that ammunition you've purchased is defective.

Best way is to call them, they should replace thos bullets for you. But if it was me i'd just shoot them. if they are really off then just pop off the bullet and use the case as a blank. once fired the bullet will flatten out due to the pressure. and the 556 rounds from what i hear aren't perfectly circular, that way it will tumble on impact.

FUD......the 556 ball will tumble based on its velocity and will tumble due to being heavy out back and because of the bullet construction the jacket will fragment when the bullet yaws thru whatever it touches

So wait I can just call up my credit card company and tell them "I made this purchase on this date and the item is defective can I have my money back?"
Do I have to provide any proof that the ammo is bad? Proof of purchase?

Yes. They may ask for a written explanation on your part. Then they'll contact Fiochi and deal with them. If your credit card company feels your in the right they will credit your card.

Whoa; did the OP purchase the ammunition directly from Fiochi? Good chance he didn't. Calling your credit card company may result in a chargeback to the vendor you purchased the ammunition from whom you have not even made an attempt to contact to try to correct the problem.

Contacting the vendor would be your first move. If they pass the buck contact fiochi. If still no resolution then would be the time to contact the credit card compay imho.

This is the correct thing to do. Ammo policy is cannot send back to company but if defective most resellers will make good.

Have you actually tried to chamber and shoot any of the ammo? Before I went to the trouble of returning it I'd at least see if it functioned. If it will chamber there is little chance anything bad will happen. Now if they will not reliably chamber then return it.
