Tactical Response is coming to San Jose!

    Fellow shooters,

Tactical Response, "Fighting Pistol", is coming to San Jose.

    From the website:

    Fighting Pistol

The root word to "gunfight" isn't "gun".

    It is "FIGHT"!
www.tacticalresponse.com for more information. The class will be scheduled on the website soon and you do not have to pay the entire tuition up front. 1/2 when you sign up and 1/2 when they get here.

    He great

But are you sure of those dates?

They show they are in Tennesse that weekend?

The only show a few overlap dates for weekday classes so are they canceling the Tennesse class, or maybe the date is not right?

This is not a cheap class at $400 + 1000 rounds of factory load (~$200) + $100 miscellaneous (gas, food, etc). Add lodginf for some, maybe needing to buy the required belt/holster, etc and it can add up.

I figure it would cost me $700 +

Do you know if they accept beginners, as teaching a class with alot of experienced students can really bore them and make them think they are not getting their money worth with a slant towards rudimentary skills.

But looks good, I added to my favorites.

Can I ask how you obtained the schedule dates/

MERRY CHRISTMAS AND HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Yes! I am sure . Tac. Response has a cache of great instuctors. I know they are going to be here because I set up the class...it just has not hit the calender yet. When it does you will be able to register.

This is not a cheap class.
Relatively speaking, it very reasonable. You have the ability to pay 1/2 when you register and 1/2 later. Great thing about Tac Response is that they have a 100% satisfaction gaurantee! Money back if your not satisfied.

Do you know if they accept beginners?
Beginners are ENCOURAGED to come. By the end of the class, you will be GTG.

Remember, ammo is cheap: Your life is not. Learn how to "fight" with your firearm.

I took the Azusa classes Tac. pistol and rifle, excellent classes and worth the price. They were very enlightening and learned much about fighting, shooting and moving.

This will be my fourth class, and the Fighting rifle was so good I am scheduled to go AGAIN...

Stevie: It was great to have you in the Azusa classes, and I look forward to our upcoming training together as well.

Boomer: We have a cadre of Instructors at Tactical Reponse. We can teach more than one course at a time. No matter your skill level at entry to the Fighting Pistol Course, you will leave with the mindset and ability to defend yourself effectively.

To all, if you are unsure of your skill level, we offer an 8 hour Pistol Primer course to help. I will be teaching one in San Jose on Jan 28, 2006. The Primer is a classroom session designed to give you the basic knowledge about your weapon and handguns in general to get the most out of training and your gun. Cost is $99 for the Primer, and no ammunition is necessary. For info on the Pistol Primer contact me at johnchapman@tacticalresponse.com .

I look forward to seeing lots of CALGUNS members at the Fighting Pistol Class. There are talkers and doers. Be a doer.

I have never been to a tactical response class but have been doing a lot of research for some other classes I have coming up and $400 for a 2 day course is very reasonable. One of the main things about courses is they are designed to show you the proper way to practice. Then you can take what you learned and practice it on your own time.

Sounds great. Is there a certain time that we need to be signed up by? Also, is there any thought of holding the rifle course sometime in he future?

                      Best,

I'm interested as well... I would like to know if James Yeager is going to be the main instructor for the "Fighting Pistol Course", at Metacalf? maybe "Chappy" or "Mace" can tell us more about this...

                        Thanks...

I will look into it. Chappy is the Kali based Tac. Resp. Instructor, but depending on the # of students, they have a minimum # of instructors per student. I will let Chappy elaborate more since he has the inside dope.

I'm not sure who the other instructor will be for the Feb San Jose class yet.

If someone is interested in hosting Fighting Rifle for the 2 days immediately following the Fighting Pistol Class, let me know, and I'll help you get started! johnchapman@tacticalresponse.com We would be more than happy to roll a Rifle class right after the pistol.

Also, the San Jose dates are now on the schedule. Go here to register:

I look forward to seeing you all there.

Any plans on there being a shotgun class in the bay area next year?
