Bushmaster(that's the one I have), Armilite, DPMS, Colt(make sure this fits as I herd it might not fit standard lowers). you can't go wrong with any these companies. And you know AR stands for Armilite. So if you want the orginal go get the armilite. but bushmaster has same quality and about the same price uppers.sigpic

I just bought a Stag 2h about 2 weeks ago and I paid less than 600 for it. Anyhow, Stag quality is about mid to above average, IMHO."Over-sentimentality, over-softness, in fact washiness and mushiness are the great dangers of this age and of this people. I'm a left handed shooter and have a Stage 2t. I haven't had one problem with that rifle after thousands of rounds through it. I personally wouldn't go with a left handed AR as you wouldn't be able to just drop in any bolt carrier group.
If you're worried about brass hitting you in the face, don't be. The brass deflector does it's job."We're surrounded.....that simplifies our problem."

I'm a Southpaw myself. I own (4) ARs and only 1 of them is a true Lefty. I believe having the Left-handed upper is just a novelty, but a unique one. I have no problem shooting Right-handed rifles. If you're on a budget, save some money & buy a "regular" AR. In the very least, install an ambi-selector switch
