    Targets

    Anyone have some fun/ interesting Target designs to share. Going with some friends next week to Burro Cyn in a private group.
    Just looking for types that will keep us having fun for a few hours.
    We will be shooting everything from 9mm hand guns to 270 Bolt actions including my new M & P 15 5.56. Even a few shot guns to mix it up
    Styles and construction tip greatly appreciated

      just get lots of cheap fruit, box of clays from wal-mart and there you go.

      ask for "unsellable" food to make it even cheaper.

          fruits are good, and cheap diet soda it doesn't leave any sticky residue. If you have some bowling pins they are fun. Maybe a 1 gallon can empty and see who can walk it the farthest with one magazine load. I do this with soda cans and a pellet gun lots of fun. You did not say but if shooting .22's briquettes are great.

              Never shot briquettes, sounds good.
              Lets get some with more imagination. I have all weekend to build or whatever. Last year we had golf balls hanging from thin rope that were hard to hit sometimes. I am thinking a fake power line with crows on it sounds cool. Now that I think of it PIGEONS. I hate pigeons, crap on everything. I see a pigeon massacre coming up, well at least fake ones

                  if you can get access to a helium tank or find a store that is open early enough, balloons. once the wind starts blowing it will make it hard to hit.

                  you can make it harder by putting 1 red balloon in a group of blue ones, and make it like a hostage situation, and you have to shoot out the red without popping any blue.

                      Get a BIG WHITE PARTICLE BOARD and see who can draw a face on it the best. That was lots of fun, But watch your ammo as these pictures can get very detailed very fast. I used up 100 rounds to draw my face, sorry no pics as we forgot to take them due to the good time we were having.
