Has anybody used this? Guide Gear Boresighter

    Verdict?

Alot isn't a word and allot isn't the word you think it is.

I'd really like a Colt 1903 frame, bad finish okay!
I'm also looking for a good deal on a 1911 frame or two for budget/spare parts builds.

It looks like the same one BSA sells.

It's an optical collaminator. It should work just fine in getting you on paper at 100 yards. Don't expect anything better than hitting paper at 100 and it'll work just fine.

will it fit an AR rifle with a flash suppressor or muzzle brake?

what about the boresighter that looks like a bullet & shoots a laser onto the target? Does it work?

Cartridge shaped bore sighters work well

But, heed the warnings in the instructions: Don't Dryfire! It'll will work for a while and you can work on your trigger control, but, one day, no more light. Real drag.

Only used it to 25 yards (indoor range) and backyard (25 feet).

They work ok. I went with this one:

It fits inside the muzzle brakes of all of my weapons. If you follow the instructions it got me nailing oranges at ~75 yards with a Mini14 and a 10/22.
