The world’s finest illumination tools and tactical gear for those who go in harm’s way and who demand the ultimate in performance, innovation, and quality.

I've only used the lowest end EP3, I'm average sized body/height and wear the size M, my wife is short and petite and wears the small. Both fit us perfectly.

We wear them with the little plug closed under electronic earmuffs. Most classes, they take off the ears/earmuffs when instructing. You can leave the Surefires in your ears comfortably for long periods of time.

I've tried e-muffs without plugs, and that's okay outdoors, but NOT indoors for me. MUCH prefer them under the muffs.

Basically, electronic muffs are regular muffs with a mic that amplifies sounds like voices until the decibels reach a certain point, then the sound amplification cuts out and your earmuffs become "dead" to muffle sound.

Again, I don't like muffs by themselves. Personal preference.

I know e-muffs are pricey, but they will be with you for years and you'll use them occasionally for non-shooting activities.

Some people are comfortable and okay shooting with the EarPros without the muffs. They were designed to be used that way.

I've never tried it personally, but something to keep in mind.

Just received mine too, from Amazon. I'm stoked to have this upgrade over my old technology.

Thanks for the advice guys. I ended up ordered a pair of H.L. Impact Sports from Amazon, and they were great. Perfect solution for listening, learning, and shooting at the same time.

Class was great as well. Defensive Handgun with Rudy Waldinger of DFT.
