If my out-of-state dad buys an "off-roster" sidearm and then gifts it to me, it is considered a legal transfer. (If I understand the law correctly.) So how exactly do you determine if a handgun is "illegal" to own in Kalifoniastan? Ive found the "roster" and understand certain models aren't on it for whatever reason, but how do you determine if a sidearm is NOT legal under ANY circumstances?

i dont think your out of state father can gift you a gun because it is coming form out of state i think that would have to go through a ffl and would need to be on the roster-John McClaneThat punk pulled a Glock 7 on me. You know what that is? It's a porcelain gun made in Germany. Dosen't show up on your airport X-ray machines, here, and it cost more than you make in a month. -
Vanilla Gorilla, you're wrong and answering a question that wasn't asked.
OP, there is an AW guide for pistols. Certain guns, like TEC-9s are named so you cannot have one. There are also features that are banned.Last edited by rromeo; 02-02-2011, 11:45 AM.Never initiate force against another. That should be the underlying principle of your life. But should someone do violence to you, retaliate without hesitation, without reservation, without quarter, until you are sure that he will never wish to harm - or never be capable of harming - you or yours again.
