POF USA

Good morning out there,

I'm thinking about a build with a POF (Patriot Ordnance Feactory) Gen 3 lower in 5.56. Can I run an upper/barrel assembly from another manufacturer without any issues? Or do both lower AND upper need to be from POF to work?

Plus any product feedback and review would help.

You can use just about any standard upper with the POF lowers.

Of course they are such nice lowers that you may not want to do that.

I have 3 lowers, that I put on other uppers, but then got a POF upper and havent looked back. It is my favorite gun to shoot.

It is just very pricey.

I have a POF Recon and for some reason my POF upper would not go with my other Stag Lower. If you can, just wait a while longer and keep on saving so you can get a POF upper. They r one of the best out there. It is kind of heavy but it requires minimum to no lube and the weapon stays cool in the chamber even after blasting an entire mag on rapid fire. Well worth the extra few bucks.
