Help me value my friends gun

My friend has a Colt Trooper MKIII chambered in .357 mag with a 6" barrel and nickel finish. He is thinking about selling it depending on what the market price is. From I what remember the thing is cherry. How much could he expect to get for it?

I have watched them sell for around $500- $600 nice pistol for those who can't afford the big bad Python.

The prices for these guns have really taken a jump the last few years. I would say a minty one would easily get $800 and up with box and paperwork. Remember Colt made a lot more Pythons than they did MKIIIs.
