These stories get over-embellished

The guy loves AKs. He gets an Arizona ID Card with a Post Office Box.

He's spotted at the GUN SHOW buying Assault Weapons. BATF snitches him out to the Riverside PD and Danny Santiago, commander of the Murrieta-Temecula Regional Gang Task Force.

They kick his door and find nothing important really....4 guns...?..big deal..1000 rounds..?...that's enough for my weekend...

And BAIL is only $25,000...?....wow..that's LOW.....

So far this man is a nice guy with common interests. Obviously he's not a violent person. With BAIL that low they don't have much on him.

What worries me more than this AK enthusiast, is the BATF attending GUN SHOWs and spying on people. In 47 other FREE States this purchase of a legal Rifle (AK) wouldn't raise a concern on anybodys radar.

I'm of two minds here. On one hand, we have a felon in possession. On the other hand, it looks like his felony was some kind of AWB violation, and while I abide by that law out of fear of prosecution, I don't consider it either just, or moral, or constitutional. As such, my main problem here is that the guy is a felon for violating the AWB in the first place.

That, and he was pretty stupid to possess the weapons while being a felon. I wonder what kind of violation it was.
