    DUBLIN KNIVES AND GUNS RANT!!!!

Well I told myself I would not do business with Dublin knives and guns anymore. I decided to give them a call to get a price on a pistol anyways. I was told I would have to come in for them to give me a price. I found that strange but said alright I will be in in a few. When I arrived their was a BE BACK IN 5 MINUTES sign on the window. I was waiting and a fellow Cal Gunner showed up and we started to chat it up. (If you are reading this you know who you are.) We talked for 10 minutes or so and he decided to call and see where the hell this guy was. He promptly showed up after the call but was telling us how he had his FFL revoked. He said it was a mistake and everything was alright. I was already telling myself I knew I should not have come here. He went on to help the other gentleman first and then me but someone else walked in and he decided to help him instead of me. I told him I needed to get a price on ordering a Firearm. I told him what I wanted and he just says buy it from Gun Broker I don't want to order one. I was pissed off as I stated what gun I wanted him to order over the phone and HE told ME to come in so I could get a price on it. After all the bull crap he says "If you drop that gun it will shatter into pieces." I told him I don't plan on dropping it don't worry. Then he says "you know who buys those guns right" I responded with no who? He says NI***RS SLANGING ROCKS ON THE CORNER. Then he goes on about how his buddies would carry them in a "JAMAICAN" holster and walk around like gang bangers and started to do an impression of them while holding his pants and walking with a limp all while actually carrying a pistol in a OWB holster. This guy is the OWNER of the store and is setting a horrible image for the place. I knew I should have never went back and now it is set in stone. I will never step foot in that store again until it is under new ownership. I might of left some things out and I will add them if I remember later.

Dude, that place is the biggest joke of a "Gunstore" I've ever wasted my Time in. I don't know how that Guy has stayed open as long as he has.

I never knew there was a gun store in Dublin. J&R gets all of my business...

Hmm, sounds like he knows a lot about the guys "slanging rocks on the corner" because he might be a regular customer of theirs.

I'm not sure what's going on. Hours have been reduced ( no longer open at lunch? ) and I believe that Joe and Vince no longer work there. Vince might have deployed (?), but I'm not sure what happened to Joe. Both of those guys were easy to deal with.

I am pretty sure Joe nor Vince are their anymore. The new guy owns the place.

If it's the gentleman that I'm thinking of, he isn't new: Joe and Vince (used to? ) work for him. Heck, I bought a pistol from the owner's wife a couple of years ago.

J&R is only 10 minutes away and is 10x better than guns and knives.

Dublin knives and guns is owned by a frigging moron. I refuse to do business there anymore. Since Jack passed, the shop has gone to hell in a handbasket.
