    AOW age question

Ok so one has to be 21 to buy a pistol/handgun, 18 to buy a long gun.

What about AOWs? Example Serbu Super Shorty shotgun

what are the "requirements " to buy an AOW?

    Under Federal laws...

If it is not a rifle or shotgun, you need to be 21 years or older for a FFL dealer to transfer you a firearm. This includes Title 2 (NFA) firearms. [18 USC 922(b)(1)]

    18 USC 922
    (b) It shall be unlawful for any licensed importer, licensed manufacturer, licensed dealer, or licensed collector to sell or deliver—
    (1) any firearm or ammunition to any individual who the licensee knows or has reasonable cause to believe is less than eighteen years of age, and, if the firearm, or ammunition is other than a shotgun or rifle, or ammunition for a shotgun or rifle, to any individual who the licensee knows or has reasonable cause to believe is less than twenty-one years of age

Wait...I think if you are named in a NFA Trust you can. The trust must be co-authored by a 21+ aged person though... It can be done I think....don't know.

        Look up NFA trust.
