    P mag 10/30?

Do you prefer an internally blocked mag like calegalmags or external like mnt armory and why? Im looking to start purchasing mags as im in the middle of my first build, and not sure where to buy. I noticed mnt armory has them for a really really good price, but there blocked externally and ive read thats not so great. Any input would be greatly appreciated!!! Thanx

I bought a 30 rounder up in Washington state over Christmas. Had to drop the baseplate out coming back to this foreign country, but I'll not be permanently neutering such a great magazine. Going to buy another one next time I'm up there and keep that one disassembled too... just in case.

At any rate, long story short, I shoot the 10/20 straight steel P-mags with the stamped sides to prevent more than 10 rounds. Since I'm in California though, I don't give a rat's *** what magazines I use since using anything actually nice would be like dropping a straight 6 in a GTO and then trying to be proud enough about it to care.

I've got a few curved "stubby" 10/20 Pmags from Midwest PX. Internally blocked, function great, and look killer

$20. Add $4.50 for ranger plates, which I did. Free shipping for orders over $125

I prefer internal. I bought a few 10/30 pmags from a shop that were riveted on the sides and none of them held exactly ten. Also didn't like the look of a rivet on the side.

Now I buy rebuild kits and then get plastic blocks from Sacramento Black Rifle and do them myself. The internal blocks are much more precise and you cant tell externally that they are blocked.
