    Just got back from Chabot

Took and passed (100%) the Hunter Safety Ed course with my wife. Was up at 4am to be there by 5:30am, turned out getting there early was a good thing because it filled up fast after that and people were all over the room, standing, in chairs, on a couch.

Saw some galgunner's over at the range area, but didn't have time to be social, I guess we missed a range day. :\

    That you did.

So THAT'S what was going on in the classroom. On our way out, Xeno and I spotted a herd of about 6 deer grazing on the trap range (it was inactive), so we went to check it out. When we drove by around 5:00 there was a bunch of people inside the building.

There were also a couple of wild turkeys strutting around.

That reminds me, not once today was there a cease fire called on account of a deer wandering onto the range during a shooting session (No Vahevahe, it's not OK to shoot deer in that situation with or without a license).

You forgot the turkeys, they wander out from time to time, too.

We've got guns, I know some of us have suitable knives on the line, and we've got grills.. What's already been eaten doesn't count as a DFG regs violation.
