    ultrasonic handgun & AR bolt cleaning??

    Anybody out there using small ultrasonic cleaning systems for cleaning handgun and small rifle parts? Brownells seems to have a system for around $400. also, is heating necessary? if so how about using a cheaper, non heating system and heat up the cleaner on the stove before using?     I know they work for airbrushes so they probably would work for gun parts... just don't expect a finish to remain on the part.

      You can get the $60 version, if your budget will not allow $400. I've cleaned brass and my handgun barrels in it, haven't tried an AR bolt. Check this thread:
