Wisconsin Expected to Expand Gun Owner Rights

(Reuters) - Wisconsin, one of two states in the nation that prohibits citizens from carrying a concealed weapon, is expected to reverse this law during the upcoming state legislative session despite shootings in Arizona that highlighted lax U.S. gun laws.

Only Illinois and Wisconsin forbid carrying concealed weapons. A Republican was elected governor and Republicans won majorities in both houses of the Wisconsin legislature in November, bringing many more supporters of gun rights to the state government.

"You're going to see a concealed carry bill pass the Legislature, I have no doubt," said Chris Danou, a Democratic legislator from Trempealeau, Wisconsin. "The question is what kind of bill it's going to be."

Of the states that have instituted 'shall issue CCW ' not ONE has backtracked .
And crime stats continue to decline.

If I recall correctly they have LOC protected by the state constitution.

Weve got LOC here now, we are anxiously awaiting CCW!
Of course the GFSZ rules apply, but its not uncommon to see folks carrying on the hip here.
heck, a few of the local taverns sponsor skeet competitions out back of the tavern on Saturday and Sunday mornings. Not quite sure about the common sense aspect of it, but apparently theres never been an issue or incident. . . . so go figure. .

Excellent observation. I personally had no idea that 57 really was the number for Muslim States.
I am not normally a 'Tin Foil Hat' guy, but it scares the heck out of me that the President of the US confused the number of states in the USA for the CORRECT number of Muslim States.
