    Pink AR parts

So, I sold an upper and a buttstock off one of my cheaper lowers (CMMG), but now I want to build it "pink" and give it to my wife.

I'll probably go with a short style glacier guard on a regular fixed front sight upper, so any ideas where to find the glacier guard in pink would help. Also, a matching pistol grip and collapsible butt stock, preferably all one make, and of better quality than Tapco.

I did a google search, and got mostly Tapco stuff. I want something a bit better.

ETA: Just found Calvary Arms might have sets. But, more input always welcome.

Dude, quit limiting yourself in the gear you can get.

Get some durakote - I'll let you use our airbrushing. I think we have 2 or 3 shades of pink durakote in our box that the banana will let you try as samples.

I even have some cavarms pink durabake in a can.
      On hold....

        Hey, thanks for the offers!

I'll probably get the Cav Arms stuff and then Duracoat the upper and lower. Since GLBTROTTR is close to me, I guess I can hit you up for your offer!

When you Duracoat something pink, lay down a white coat or two first. That way you have a much lighter undercoat for the pink to be on, you'll have a better pink color .

Properly prepped, wood can take almost any color/surface. So, it's just how much prep and material you want to put on/in to it.

No worries bro - just order your paints, and make sure you prep all your stuff so no sticky oils from your paws are on them.

We can hang your parts from an improvised clothes line - and your parts can dry while overlooking the beautiful pacific ocean

Durabake cures in the oven, BTW.

Lastly, unless real carefully chosen, buying pink parts and using differently shaded pink parts may look like crud - ask the Banana, whose airbrushes you'll be using...

It's just my opinion, but I think if you're going to build a pink AR, you need to do it right and go Hello Kitty style.
