    Double-ended...Magazines?

Yeah, I know what you were thinking...Has something like this been done? What does the law say about it?

Could weld 2 mags together bottom to bottom, faster reloads?

    Think dirty mags
    Connector/couplers are a better.
    Welding would constitute alterations yes?

I guess you could, nut you can also get the clamps to hold two mags together.
Never initiate force against another. That should be the underlying principle of your life. But should someone do violence to you, retaliate without hesitation, without reservation, without quarter, until you are sure that he will never wish to harm - or never be capable of harming - you or yours again.

Bet that upside down mag would have issues holding the rounds in a ready-to-shoot position if you drop to prone or bang the gun on something while moving around.

IT's already been done many times over. Just look at Ruger 10-22's an the AK that Finestein used as an example once. It had two mags duct taped together.

I have seen .22 caliber mags that connect together like legos-- some with a pair and others connect three in a pinwheel. I'm pretty sure this would be lawful as each is a seperate container holding less than 11 rounds each.

While there are folks here who can manufacture mags to do this, I'm hoping that the capacity limits will nullify any need to do so.
