I guess you could, nut you can also get the clamps to hold two mags together.Never initiate force against another. That should be the underlying principle of your life. Bet that upside down mag would have issues holding the rounds in a ready-to-shoot position if you drop to prone or bang the gun on something while moving around.Comment

I have seen .22 caliber mags that connect together like legos-- some with a pair and others connect three in a pinwheel. I'm pretty sure this would be lawful as each is a seperate container holding less than 11 rounds each.
While there are folks here who can manufacture mags to do this, I'm hoping that the capacity limits will nullify any need to do so.
