You don't have to be defiant.Never initiate force against another. That should be the underlying principle of your life. But should someone do violence to you, retaliate without hesitation, without reservation, without quarter, until you are sure that he will never wish to harm - or never be capable of harming - you or yours again.

Ted Nugent tells it like it is. In a "Dog Eat Dog" world with a bunch of "Street Rats" "Stromtroopin'" "Out of "Control" with a bunch of soulless criminals intent on leaving us in a "State of Shock", we can break their "Stranglehold" of fear by being prepared. (Nuge fans will get the song references).Comment

I wonder if he would ever run for president........... he would have my vote."I *love* the idea of DOJ buyback money being used to buy guns for kids. " - SteadyrockComment

One point that was sort of hidden in his message that I wish he would have expounded upon.
When he mentioned it was our duty to protect our loved ones and that we must be prepared and vigilant against evil, it implies more than simply being ready to shoot.
It implies we also watch those around us for signals they are becoming unstable or dangerous. That we make contact with those "loners" living around us and watch for those same signals. Unwarranted violence within families should not be endured out of shame or embarassment.
It's more than being ready to draw your gun. Sometimes making a phone call is the toughest decision.Comment
