Cow Palace Gun Show is packed!

I've been attending the gun show for awhile and this is the busiest I've ever seen it this early. Miwall has lines several people deep and lanes marked for people traffic. It's good to see and I hope they have enough ammo.

If it's anything like Dec 2008 I'm sure all handgun ammo will be gone by Saturday.

The girl at MiWall said they stocked up and should be okay.

But the lines were crazy. I got there at 8:30 and the lines were already
from the door to the ticket booth. This reminded me of the crowd
      right before the '08 election.

I got to the miwall counter, probably 6th in line for my line and
still had to wait 25 min to get my ammo.

By the time I got my ammo, each line were at least 20-30 deep.

This article shows the organizer was expecting a "normal" turnout. I think he may have been off on his estimation of 5000 total participants: http://www.mercurynews.com/san-mateo...nclick_check=1

They're selling Egyptian bed sheets - 600 or 1200 thread count. Now I've seen everything at this show. Picking up my beef jerky and I'm out of here.

ETA - Soneone is selling beer bongs and strip pong. Now I have seen everything!

Are you sure you went to the Cow Palace or maybe to the Sham Wow Palace?

The line to get in was crazy long!! I wasn't there for the pre 2008 election frenzy but this was impressive. What's even more impressive is how that line moved smoothly into the hall.

I think ammo supply will be good until at least noon Sunday. Ammo prices were holding steady too. Surprisingly, the line for reloading supplies was short to none. It took me but a few minutes to buy what I needed. Primer prices went down from the last show. We'll see if the reloading line grows longer in the next gun shows.

              Otherwise, same old stuff.

I finished shooting at Jackson Arms at about 12. I thought to myself, that I might stop by the gun show . . . Then figured it would probably be packed. Normally, I am in line about 8:30am.

I failed to pick up a couple of cases of Miwall S&W .40 at the November gun show. Hopefully, tomorrow morning, they will still have some available. If not, I'll get it when they are back in town in April.

What are the prices like for reloading components?

i couldn't believe the lines around Miwall.....CRAZY long lol but other than that not much stuff that really caught my eye that i can't get at other shows. Spent a long time with the guys selling the Visalia Safes and i have to say i'm truely impressed on the quality. I'm looking for a safe and they are my top choice right now. Other than getting few cases of 9mm reloads from miwall (which had gone up $30 from the last time i bought from them a few months ago) and joining the NRA i'd say a good gun show that i spent with my uncles and grandfather

I went to the Miwall table at 11:00... out of 231 out of WST out of HP38 ...the table had a sign up saying 115 or 124 grain 9mm at $59.95 per 1000...I asked the miwall guy for a box he said they were sold out but he had 250 packs fo r $21.00 ...I asked him why did he have the sign up? He just he shrugs his shoulders...

Miwall needs to cut out the gun show and just travel city to city selling out the back of a simi.
