Here they come. The so called bills that will stop mass shootings.....just like all the bills before them have stopped them.

meh, scare tactics, besides i think they should concentrate more on the background checks than post stupid ones to ban hi cap mags. Also in that article, they say it may not really gain any momentum considering that legislation and politicians don't want to tread that territory, but hey we weill never know, better go buy some rebuild kits before they surprise us with some stupid bill in case

Same ole same ole from the nanny state dunces.
"Gun control" was/is never about public safety.
It is just another way to control people. Meet the new slavery.

If they pass, mass shootings will certainly increase in frequency, and they'll realize that they were completely wrong, but they won't admit to it.

The part that disturbs me the most is the allegations that the Tuscon Shooter was the subject of several complaints to the PD for making threats against people. The PD told the complainants that the 'Mental Health' agencies had him under control and took no further action.
The shooter was rejected by the US Army and expelled from a local community college for what appear to be Psychiatric reasons. The community college allegedly told the shooter he would need to provide a Psychiatric clearance before he would be re-admitted.
The shooter was a Marijuana user at the time he purchased his Glock 19 in November, 2010.
Finally, on the morning of the shooting, he was pulled over by the PD for running a red Light and was also chased on foot by his own Father for exhibiting erratic behavior.
In conclusion, the PD allegedly gave the shooter a 'Pass' because his Mother was a county employee, the Army and Community College are not required to provide Psychiatric info to any agency so that it may show up in a Background check, the Marijuana use was not documented in Criminal Records, and the Father and the LEO saw no reason to act further upon their observations on the day of the shooting.
The Gun Laws are fine, the system and its employees failed miserably.

Yep the gun laws worked and let a bunch of unarmed people die. Less people with carbon footprints around now, I sure feel safe.
