i would love to own a couple dozen LEGAL bought and taxed full auto guns. but i could not afford to feed any of them.
but to ask or talk about turning a legal semi auto rifle into instant felon gun is just plane stupid.

If people want to talk about full auto they can join a site that supports it like Ak-Files. I know talking about full auto is not illegal however if people open talk about they plan on doing any modification's to there own firearm it is not legal. Use Google's there is tons of info and keep it off a site that don't support it. Also for people trying or thinking about it not doing it right may lead to death . So screw the jail time and the fines but you can die.

There's nothing wrong with information, it's only when someone acts on that information should we worry. If you can make an UNSAFE firearm by leaving out one part, this might be something important for people to know.

When I was younger I saw someone put a few parts in wrong into their Mac, well, the damn thing went FA and scarred the crap out of everyone. It was an accident, and a lesson learned. Had this person known that by doing what they did they would go FA, I really doubt it would have happened.

I will say that information isn't illegal, using that information for illicit purposes can be illegal. I've had people asking about mods at the shop and my standard line is "You DO KNOW that a firearm is an explosive containment vessel, the mods your thinking of doing can cause that vessel to fail. If you value your face I would just leave it alone."

I remember a thread a couple years ago where Adam (Freekshow) explained how silencers work and showed plans and cut away pics of some. The different baffle types and designs and that was GTG.
